Conflict over land in Nangarhar has resulted in one fatality and three injuries

RASC News Agency: Local Taliban officials in Nangarhar province have announced that, due to a land dispute between two families in the “Goshti” district of this province, one person was killed and three others were injured. According to a press release issued by the spokesperson for the Taliban command in Nangarhar province, this incident occurred on Monday, March 18th, as a result of a clash between two families, “Shah Wali” and “Moltan,” in the “Sur Dak” area of this province.

The press release states that the confrontation between the two families was halted by Taliban security forces, and one individual named “Hijratullah,” son of “Ahmad Sher,” has been detained. According to Taliban officials in the province, the injured individuals have been transferred to the hospital, and one of them has succumbed to their injuries en route.

Meanwhile, land conflicts have significantly increased in various provinces of the country in recent days. Earlier, as a result of a clash between two tribes over land in the “Tagab” district of Badghis province, one person was killed and another was injured.

Furthermore, in another incident due to clashes between two tribes over pastures in the Pushtun Kot district of Faryab province, eleven individuals were injured.
