RASC News Agency: Ata Mohammad Noor, a member of the National Resistance Front for the Salvation of Afghanistan, asserted that the Taliban, with the support and hosting of more than 22 terrorist groups, have transformed Afghanistan into a sanctuary for international terrorists, fostering an environment conducive to the promotion and export of terrorism from Afghanistan under the dominance of this group.
Ata Mohammad Noor conveyed these remarks on Saturday, Mar 9, marking the 13th anniversary of the assassination of Abdul Rahman Sayedkhili, the former security commander of Kunduz province, in a message on the social media platform X. Mr. Noor articulated, “Our land grapples with the most daunting circumstances today. A group has seized control of the fate of our people, adhering to no principles or values other than their own narrow-minded perspective.”
Mr. Noor emphasized that indifference towards the Taliban, coupled with an approach of engagement, further emboldens them to perpetrate more inhumane actions than ever before. Noor underscored, “While the Taliban repeatedly commit crimes against humanity, depriving people, especially women and girls, of their fundamental rights, segregating them from society, and exemplifying a stark form of gender apartheid.”
This member of the National Resistance Front highlighted that the Taliban’s extremist agenda is escalating, and by establishing religious schools, effectively serving as indoctrination centers for extremists, they have transformed Afghanistan into a hub for the cultivation and dissemination of extremism.
Noor elaborated, “The Islamic community holds that engaging with the Taliban means capitulating to a terrorist group contrary to freedom and people’s rights, thereby positioning Afghanistan as a significant threat in the region and the world.”
Mr. Noor concluded his statement by asserting, “This situation is untenable and will soon evolve. The future of Afghanistan must be shaped to witness the restoration of peace, tranquility, the reinstatement of democracy, and the protection of human rights for all citizens of the country.”
