RASC News Agency: After being closed for five days, several districts in Badakhshan province have recently reopened routes in six districts for travel. Taliban officials in Badakhshan province informed the media on Friday, Feb 23, that transportation routes from the Shighnan district to the gates have been reopened.

Meanwhile, officials from the Shighnan district in Badakhshan have stated that passenger vehicle traffic has resumed, but freight vehicle traffic has not yet resumed.

This development follows heavy snowfall, accompanied by severe storms and drifting snow, which led to the closure of 12 districts in Badakhshan province.

It is noteworthy that heavy snowfall annually results in the closure of several districts in Badakhshan province, presenting numerous challenges for its residents.
