Traffic Accident in Laghman Province Results in 13 Injuries

RASC News Agency: Simultaneously with the surge in traffic incidents across various provinces of the country, a recent traffic accident unfolded in Laghman Province, leaving 13 individuals injured. According to a press release issued by the Taliban’s security command in Laghman on Thursday, Feb 22, the accident occurred early in the morning at 7:00 AM in the Aziz Khan area of Laghman Province.

Authorities in the province attributed the primary cause of the accident to driver negligence, underscoring that the injured individuals were promptly transported to the hospital. This incident follows a previous traffic accident in Helmand Province, which resulted in two fatalities and eleven other injuries.

It’s noteworthy that factors such as driver negligence, excessive speeding, road defects, heavy congestion, and inadequate traffic signage on certain roads contribute to the prevalence of traffic accidents.
