RASC News Agency: Local sources in Kapisa province have reported the fatal shooting of a man by another individual using a Kalashnikov rifle, marking yet another addition to the alarming surge in mysterious and unresolved killings across Afghanistan. According to reports, the incident occurred in the Hessa Awal Kohistan district of Kapisa province. The fatal altercation took place this afternoon Saturday, November 30, in the village of Sanjan, where the perpetrator allegedly shot and killed the victim following a personal dispute.
The victim has been identified as Mashhad Khan, while the suspect has been named as Sabor. Sources indicate that the motive behind the killing stems from an enduring personal feud. Further investigation reveals that the animosity between the two individuals originated during Afghanistan’s previous government when Mashhad Khan reportedly killed Sabor’s father. At that time, local elders mediated a reconciliation between the two parties. However, Sabor is believed to have acted on the unresolved grievance, ultimately leading to the fatal shooting.
Thus far, Taliban authorities in Kapisa have refrained from issuing any official statements regarding the incident. This event follows a similar case in Parwan province, where an individual was killed due to a personal vendetta rooted in historical conflicts during the era of the Afghanistani republic. Since the Taliban’s resurgence, numerous provinces have documented multiple killings driven by personal enmities, alongside a worrying increase in mysterious and unresolved murders, further exacerbating public fears and insecurity nationwide.
