RASC News Agency: Continuing their imposition of numerous restrictions on citizens, the Taliban have recently banned filming at formal and informal gatherings in Kandahar Province. A document surfaced on Sunday, Feb 19, revealing that Mullah Mohammad Shirin Akhund, the Taliban governor for Kandahar Province, issued a written directive to the civil and military institutions of the group, prohibiting filming at their formal and informal gatherings.

However, the document also states that media reports of their formal and informal meetings can be disseminated in written and audio formats. According to the document, any filming of “living beings” is considered forbidden in Islam. This development comes as the Taliban, during their two-year rule in Afghanistan, have imposed numerous restrictions on citizens, including the prohibition of filming at wedding ceremonies.

It is noteworthy that these imposed restrictions on citizens have resulted in a significant number of people leaving Afghanistan and migrating to neighboring countries.
