RASC News Agency: According to reports from media sources on Monday, January 22nd, the Taliban group has detained 14 residents of Nimroz province. These individuals were apprehended due to their alleged participation in a recent suicide attack that took place in the province. The arrests were made in Nimroz province, as confirmed by sources from the province.

The sources further revealed that among those detained by the Taliban group, some were identified as workers in Zaranj city, the center of Nimroz province. However, the officials of the Taliban group have refrained from making any comments regarding this incident.

It is worth mentioning that on Sunday, January 14th, a suicide bomber detonated himself in the area of the Taliban group’s “Governor’s Office” in Nimroz, resulting in injuries to three of Mohammad Qasim Khalid’s security guards.
Reports indicate that the Taliban employed comparable tactics to undermine the Western-supported Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the twenty years leading up to their resurgence in August 2021. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that insecurity has escalated in Afghanistan since the Taliban assumed control.

Alongside suicide attacks orchestrated by the Taliban, terrorist assaults targeting minority groups in different urban centers have resulted in the loss of lives. The Taliban frequently attributes the majority of these attacks to ISIS terrorist groups.
