RASC News Agency: In a recent press conference, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emphatically reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to fostering a peaceful, stable, and interconnected Afghanistan. Mrs. Baloch underscored Pakistan’s ardent desire to see Afghanistan evolve into a pivotal trade route and energy hub for the entire region.

Emphasizing a consistent message, Mrs. Baloch highlighted Pakistan’s vision of Afghanistan as a prosperous, secure, and well-connected nation, playing a central role as a commercial and energy conduit that enhances communication and trade in the region. Pakistan, a strong proponent of regional approaches to addressing Afghanistan’s situation, actively participates in meetings and mechanisms aimed at promoting peace in the country.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized Pakistan’s enduring commitment to dialogue and cooperation with Afghanistan, especially in the economic sector. Both nations are actively exploring collaborative avenues, showcasing their dedication to nurturing a mutually beneficial relationship.

Concurrently, the Taliban group has expressed determination to confront the challenges faced by both Kabul and Islamabad, signaling a proactive approach to finding solutions and overcoming regional obstacles. Notably, Pakistani authorities have alleged the presence of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) in Afghanistan, resulting in the repatriation of over 450,000 Afghanistani immigrants.

Moreover, it is pertinent to acknowledge the diverse perspectives among political analysts regarding the resolution of challenges between Kabul and Islamabad. It remains crucial to recognize Pakistan’s previous strong and cordial ties with the Taliban, which have undergone strain due to the escalation of terrorist attacks within Pakistan.
