RASC News Agency: Sources indicate that while the Taliban’s oppression extends to other provinces, its tyranny is particularly acute in the northern regions of the country. According to sources on Tuesday, Feb 27, media reports revealed that the Taliban’s tyranny originates within its administrative offices and permeates urban areas.

Furthermore, evidence suggests that besides the physical abuse perpetrated by Taliban officials, instances of moral and financial corruption among the group’s members in the northern provinces abound. In recent developments, Afghanistan International disclosed that Taliban officials overseeing the group’s passport authority in Panjshir Province have subjected visitors to beatings and engaged in highly violent conduct.

As per the report, within urban locales, the Taliban have severely punished individuals, ostensibly for neglecting mosque attendance, subjecting them to brutal torture. It is noteworthy that the Taliban’s prejudiced and violent treatment of non-Pashtun citizens is not novel; the group has frequently displaced its own relatives and members from pivotal positions.

Numerous Taliban officials themselves have accused the group of ethnic bias, emphasizing that such conduct and their double standards towards other ethnicities could undermine the Taliban regime.
