RASC News Agency: In recent developments, Iranian authorities have introduced robust measures to curtail and rectify the employment of unauthorized foreign nationals within Tehran province, launching a specialized monitoring initiative aimed at overseeing the activities of these individuals in the counties of Pardis and Pishva.
As disclosed by the morning news outlet Sobh Pardis, the endeavor to prevent and address the employment of unauthorized foreign nationals in Tehran involved joint patrols in the counties of Bahara Kouvar, Pardis, and Pishva. These patrols, led by the head of the Department of Cooperation, Labor, and Social Welfare of the county, in conjunction with the deputy of the Health Network, security police, and the supervisor of the Chamber of Guilds.
During this collaborative patrol, thorough inspections were conducted on 56 food establishments and 25 stalls operated by Afghanistani vendors. Violating businesses faced closures, and their proprietors were subjected to monetary fines. A total of 89 unauthorized foreign nationals were identified and subjected to legal penalties, with corresponding legal actions taken against the offending employers. These joint patrols are slated to persist on a regular basis to systematically regulate the employment of foreign nationals in Tehran province, with continuous inspections.
The overseeing committee, comprising the Deputy for Political and Security Affairs of the governorate, the head of police intelligence and public security, the head of the labor department, the head of the Chamber of Guilds, and trade inspectors, remains vigilant in orchestrating these measures. These developments unfold against a backdrop where scrutiny over Afghanistani citizens in various Iranian provinces has recently intensified, imposing constraints on their access to facilities within the country.
