RASC News Agency: According to sources from the administration of the Taliban’s Treasury in Helmand province, inappropriate behavior by Taliban officials and their interference in administrative affairs have led to the resignation of 23 employees of the group’s administration in Helmand. Sources stated on Sunday, November 26th, that some employees of the Taliban Group’s Treasury in Helmand reported yesterday that the appointed head of the group’s Treasury administration in Helmand, Nematullah Moghira, along with some of their officials, forcefully coerced lower-ranking employees of the administration into signing documents.

Sources mention that Mohammad Naser Akhund, the Minister of Finance of the Taliban group, traveled to Helmand province to resolve this issue. However, sources add that the mass resignation of employees from the Taliban’s Treasury administration has disrupted the functioning of this institution, and the group’s officials have yet to find suitable replacements for these employees. Sources further add that on Friday, November 24, Mohammad Naser Akhund, the Minister of Finance of the Taliban group, during a meeting with these employees, requested them to return to their duties and continue their activities in this administration.

Meanwhile, earlier reports from the Taliban-controlled Bakhtar News Agency on Friday had stated that the Minister of Finance of the group had traveled to Helmand province and visited a government-owned vegetable oil and cotton factory during this trip. It is worth noting that prior to this, reports had been published regarding the use of force and inappropriate behavior of Taliban members towards government employees in various provinces of the country, and sources had stated that Taliban officials humiliate and demean these employees in these institutions.
