RASC News Agency: Amidst the self-inflicted carnage orchestrated by the Taliban across diverse provinces of the nation, recent corroborations from local sources in Faryab province attest to a profoundly alarming incident. Members of this faction have unleashed a fusillade of gunfire upon a woman in the Almar district of Faryab province. Sources emanating from Faryab province disclosed on Wednesday, December 27, that a 28-year-old woman fell victim to relentless gunfire perpetrated by Taliban members in the Elmar district earlier this week. The woman, a mother of two, whose husband is employed in Iran, underwent an initial trial in an impromptu desert court convened by the Taliban, facing charges of fleeing her residence and subsequently becoming the target of their lethal gunfire.
Despite this abhorrent act, the Taliban in Faryab province have refrained from articulating an official stance on the actions of their members. Notably, this transpired subsequent to the Taliban’s earlier execution of a woman in Balkh province, accused of moral corruption and stoned to death. It is imperative to note that antecedent to these events, Taliban members across diverse provinces of the country have been involved in myriad actions, subjecting citizens to field trials and punitive measures on various charges. It should be underscored that the imposition of field trials on citizens by the Taliban has elicited reactions from legal entities and certain nations. Consequently, the group abstains from permitting any documentation of such incidents.
According to reports, subsequent to their seizure of the country, the Taliban have undertaken numerous actions egregiously violating human rights, particularly those of women and former government officials. Based on available information, the Taliban remain unresponsive to any form of accountability for their actions, operating without consideration for any established principles or norms.
