RASC News Agency: Within the confines of Taliban prisons, an estimated 2,500 members of the Taliban group currently find themselves incarcerated. This revelation, unveiled to the media on the 19th of December, underscores a daily escalation in the number of detainees. The spectrum of charges faced by these individuals spans from grave offenses like murder, robbery, and kidnapping to the crime of rape, as well as affiliation with the notorious ISIS.

Insights from the sources further illuminate specific detainees accused of orchestrating kidnappings for financial gain, actions officially identified by the group’s officials. This breaking news, now disseminated through various media outlets, follows the prior censure by the nation’s citizens regarding the Taliban’s deep involvement in diverse criminal activities.

It is worth emphasizing that, despite the Taliban’s historical propensity for arresting and subjecting the country’s citizens to torture for perceived immoral behavior, a stark contrast exists in their treatment of their own members. Notably, the group has refrained from subjecting its members to similar punitive measures or allowing their exposure in the media. Reports indicate that individuals affiliated with the Taliban group are also entwined with ISIS Khorasan, a matter the group is keen on keeping concealed from public scrutiny.

Crucially, during their two-year governance in Afghanistan, the Taliban consistently exhorted the country’s citizens to adhere strictly to Islamic Sharia law. However, members of this group have recurrently flouted these calls, contributing to heightened tensions within the community.
