The Oregon State Police, as reported by a local news outlet, affirmed that the plane collided with power lines, precipitating its subsequent descent. As per Oregon state authorities, the aircraft was in transit from McMinnville Airport to Independence State Airport when it encountered formidable winds, culminating in its collision with the power lines.
The American police disseminated a statement divulging the identities of the deceased individuals. The pilot, Mohammad Hussain Mousavi, aged 35, along with passengers Mohammad Bashir Safdari, also 35, and Ali Jan Ferdowsi, aged 29, met their demise in the accident. The Oregon police further unveiled that the trio had been immersed in training flights over the past year with the aim of acquiring their licenses.
In the aftermath of the downfall of the prior regime and the ascendancy of the Taliban, these three individuals, akin to numerous others, sought refuge in the United States due to diverse reasons, including apprehension of the Taliban. It is noteworthy that a substantial cohort of former government employees and soldiers departed Afghanistan amid threats from the Taliban and myriad other challenges.
Meanwhile, reports posit that since assuming control of the nation, the Taliban has subjected soldiers from the preceding government to apprehensions, incarcerations, torture, and, in numerous instances, executions, notwithstanding the proclamation of a general amnesty.
