RASC News Agency: Concurrently with the escalating number of expelled migrants from Pakistan and expressions of concern regarding their plight, Jaw Shing, China’s ambassador in Kabul, recently proclaimed the initiation of his country’s assistance to these displaced individuals. As per a report from the Taliban-controlled Bakhtar News Agency published on Wednesday, December 13th, Shing addressed this issue during a meeting with Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, the interim minister of economy for the group and the official responsible for soliciting aid for migrants expelled from Pakistan.
In the agency’s report under Taliban administration, comprehensive details regarding the scope and precise timing of this assistance initiation have not been divulged. However, it was mentioned that certain aids are anticipated to be conveyed to the country via railways in the near future. The Bakhtar News Agency conveyed that the Chinese ambassador declared that the volume of trade exchanges between the country and the Taliban group has surged to one billion dollars this year, deeming it a noteworthy accomplishment in Beijing’s economic and trade collaboration with this group.
This development unfolds as China had previously sustained its humanitarian aid to Afghanistan for the earthquake victims in Herat. It is noteworthy that, in recent times, the scale of forced expulsion of Afghanistani migrants from neighboring nations, particularly Pakistan and Iran, has witnessed a significant upswing. Reports indicate that nearly 500,000 tons of migrants have been expelled from Pakistan and repatriated to the country.
Presently, reports underscore that expelled migrants from Pakistan within the nation are also grappling with a precarious situation, lacking access to proper living facilities. With the advent of winter, this predicament has further intensified.
