RASC News Agency: According to sources, the Teacher Training Centers (TTC) professors have not received their salaries from the Taliban group for the past four months. Despite repeated requests from the teachers, the officials of the group have taken no action to address this issue. On Sunday, December 3rd, sources quoted the professors of TTC, stating that their attempts to contact Abdul Salam Hanafi, the deputy prime minister of the Taliban group, were unsuccessful. Even when given the opportunity to meet with their comrades, no progress was made.
The professors have resorted to reaching out to their fellow students through online groups, urging them to raise their concerns with the officials and leadership of the Taliban group. However, their pleas have fallen on deaf ears. The officials have shown no interest in resolving the problem or even acknowledging the voices of the professors. This lack of attention has caused significant financial difficulties for the professors, especially considering the ongoing economic crisis in the country. Their salaries, which were already meager, were their sole source of income, and now even that has been cut off by the Taliban group.
Despite previous announcements by the Taliban group that the TTCs would be removed from the education system and the professors would be recruited to other departments, no action has been taken. The professors continue to face hardships, particularly during the harsh winter, as they struggle to pay rent and meet the living expenses of their families. It is concerning to see that the officials of the Taliban group have not fulfilled their promises and have neglected the well-being of these educators.
