RASC News Agency: Mohsin Dawar, a former member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, recently made a statement claiming that the Taliban group is a creation of Rawalpindi and that their identity is rooted in terrorism. In response to a recent security meeting in Herat, Mr. Dawar expressed his concerns on social media, highlighting that the Taliban group presented themselves as representatives of the Afghanistani citizens during the conference.

Continuing his message, the former parliament member emphasized that those who have genuine popular support establish their legitimacy through elections rather than resorting to fear and terror. Despite reports indicating that at least two Herat security conferences were held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, after the Taliban’s takeover in Afghanistan, with the presence of officials from the former Afghanistan government, Pakistani politicians, and experts, Mr. Dawar’s statement stands firm.

Furthermore, while the Taliban group and Islamabad previously had a cordial relationship, recent developments, such as the group’s inaction against the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and their establishment in Afghanistan, as well as the forced deportation of over a million Afghanistani refugees, have strained the relations between the two sides.

It is worth noting that the Pakistani government has recently intensified the forced deportation of Afghanistani immigrants due to their involvement in terrorist attacks against the country’s armed forces and economic challenges. Pakistani government officials have urged the Taliban group to take action against the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who operate from Afghanistan and carry out attacks against the Pakistani army. However, the Taliban group has yet to take any action against them, further complicating the situation.
