RASC News Agency: Following the continued arrests and imprisonment of Afghanistani citizens by the Taliban, according to local sources from Bamiyan province, the forces of this group have recently detained the head of the Agha Khan Foundation office for this city. Sources reported on Sunday, November 26th, to the media that Mohammad Dawood Akbari, the head of the Agha Khan Foundation office, was arrested by the Taliban intelligence on the previous Tuesday, November 21.

According to sources, the Taliban intelligence forces detained Mr. Akbari, the head of the Agha Khan Foundation office, in front of his house in Kabul city, and so far, there is no news about his fate. Meanwhile, the Taliban have not yet commented on the detention of Mr. Akbari. Based on the information, Mohammad Dawood Akbari has been working as the head of the local office of the Agha Khan Foundation in Bamiyan province for several years. This comes as the Taliban have previously engaged in various actions in different provinces of the country, especially in Bamiyan province, detaining Afghanistani citizens under various pretexts.

Furthermore, according to the information, the Taliban previously detained a university student in Bamiyan province for giving a speech at a student gathering and requesting security from this group. It should be noted that while the Taliban claim to respect the rights of all citizens, their actions towards Afghanistani citizens, based on the information, demonstrate violent behavior and disregard for the rights of these citizens.
