RASC News Agency: Local sources in Nangarhar province have reported the discovery of a young man’s body under mysterious circumstances in the Batikot district. According to initial information, the victim had suffered severe torture before his death, though his identity remains unknown.
The body was found in a water channel located in the Shinwari Qala area of Batikot district. Abdul Basir Zabuli, spokesperson for the Taliban group’s security command in Nangarhar province, confirmed the discovery. Following the discovery, the body was transferred to a local hospital for further investigation.

This incident adds to the rising number of unexplained deaths and body discoveries in different provinces of Afghanistan since the Taliban assumed control of the country. The Taliban has faced allegations of executing individuals and throwing their bodies into water channels in Nangarhar province, on suspicions of collaboration with the ISIS group.
Furthermore, reports indicate that the Taliban has arrested, tortured, and in some instances, killed people in the northern provinces, accusing them of being members of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan.

It is noteworthy to mention that there are claims from various sources suggesting that the Taliban has orchestrated killings and intentionally made them appear mysterious, potentially concealing their involvement or responsibility. These allegations raise concerns about the human rights situation and the increasing violence since the Taliban takeover.
