RASC News Agency: Local sources in Baghlan province in the north of the country confirm that a national businessman in the province is building a school at a cost of more than seven million Kabuli/Afghani rupees.
Based on information from sources; This school is being built in Khost and Fereng district of Baghlan province by Atiqullah Ramin, one of the national merchants, so that students can benefit from it.
Sources in Baghlan province told the media yesterday (Friday, 17 September 8) that the dedication of the school building was done in an official ceremony with the presence of local elders and residents.
Citing sources, the total cost of the building of this school is estimated to be more than seven million Kabuli/Afghani rupees, which will be completed and commissioned in the next six months.
Elders and residents of Khost and Fereng district of Baghlan province, who participated in the dedication ceremony of this school, criticized the closing of the doors of schools and universities on girls.
Although they called this action of the national merchants for the construction of the school building as an effective action, they welcomed and appreciated it, but they said that now some schools have buildings, but the students are not allowed to study.
The building of this school was dedicated on the eve of the International Literacy Day, and on this day, everyone should study science and learn without discrimination and gender bias.
Nevertheless, in Afghanistan, after the rule of the Taliban group, not only no literacy programs been planned for adults, but the gates of schools and universities have also been closed to girls.
