RASC News Agency: Continuing the forced expulsion of Afghanistani refugees from Iran, Majid Shojai, the commander of border security in Khorasan Razavi, Iran, recently stated that in the last 15 days, 20,000 Afghanistani migrants have been deported from Iran. According to the ISNA news agency, citing Mr. Shojai on Saturday, Feb 10, this number of migrants was apprehended through separate operations from various cities in Iran and then returned to their country via the Dogharun border.

However, Mr. Shojai further emphasized that foreign citizens must immigrate to Iran officially and legally. Otherwise, they will be promptly identified and returned to their country through the borders. This comes as in recent months, Iran and Pakistan have intensified the forced expulsion of Afghanistani refugees, with hundreds of illegal migrants being deported daily from these two countries and returning to their homeland.

It is noteworthy that following the Taliban’s takeover in Afghanistan, the migration of Afghanistani citizens to neighboring countries, including Iran, has increased for various reasons.
