RASC News Agency: Local sources from Takhar province report that six members of the Taliban group were killed and injured as a result of a conflict between members of this group in Farkhar district of this province.
According to the sources, this incident happened last day on 9 August 31 in Chaman Khosdeh village of Farkhar district.
The sources added that this conflict happened after a verbal tension between the local Taliban and the Taliban of Pashtun descent who had recently come to evacuate the military camp “Chaman Khosdeh”.
The sources added that one Pashtun Taliban was killed and two Pashtun Taliban and three Tajik Taliban were injured in this conflict.
Sources said that Qari Zabihullah, the head of counter-terrorism of the Taliban group’s security command in Farkhar district, along with five people under his command, were arrested by the special forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban group in this area.
The local officials of the Taliban group in Takhar province have not yet commented on this conflict.
This is while some reports from Takhar province indicate that as a result of the intensification of attacks by the opposition fronts of the Taliban group, especially the National Resistance Front in Takhar province, this group has assigned new people to each region, including Farkhar district.
It should be noted that recently, the attacks of the opposing fronts of the Taliban group have intensified not only in Takhar province but also in other provinces of the country, and daily reports of the casualties of this group are published as a result of these attacks.
Along with the National Resistance Front, the Freedom Front also reports attacks on this group from time to time.
