RASC: The Taliban group has claimed that they live in goodwill with all ethnic groups, especially Shias.
This group has once again claimed that they live in brotherhood with other ethnic groups, especially the Shias, despite applying all the restrictions against Shia religious ceremonies and monopolizing power.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of this group, has stated in his latest statements that Shia and Taliban group live in brotherhood in Afghanistan.
Mujahid said that Muharram has been celebrated in Afghanistan for many years, and Shia and Taliban share many customs and traditions, including Muharram, which they respect.
These statements of the Taliban group are raised while this group has imposed serious restrictions against Hussain’s mourning ceremony in Muharram this year and slapped and whipped Hussain’s mourners in the alleys and back alleys of major cities of the country.
In the same way, several videos of the violent confrontation of Taliban forces with Hussaini mourners have been published.
In one case, the forces of this group invaded the kitchen of a mourning party and violently beat the mourners in Kabul city.
In another case, the Taliban group stopped the car carrying Hussaini’s mourners, which had a mourning flag installed on it, and beat the mourners with whips.
The Taliban group in Ghazni province shot at Hussainis mourners, as a result of which a number of mourners were martyred and injured.
However, this group has claimed that despite the shooting of Hussainis mourners on the day of Ashura and the complete monopoly of power in the country, they live like brothers with other ethnic groups.
