RASC: Ahmad Massoud, the leader of the Resistance Front, in response to the latest women’s protests regarding the prohibition of beauty parlors, said that this group could not shake the will of the people despite violence and repressive policies.
The leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has announced the expansion of resistance against the Taliban group in Takhar and Badakhshan provinces due to the violence and brutality of this group.
Ahmad Massoud has answered the questions of Farid Zakaria, a well-known CNN presenter, by participating online in the three-day “Aspin” security meeting in America yesterday.
Two years after the Taliban took control of the country and the fall of the cardiac system, Ahmad Masoud spoke less about his plans against the Taliban’s rule in this conversation. The large part of his speech included criticism of the American negotiations at the Doha meeting, the disastrous withdrawal of foreign forces, and the mistakes of the United States in Afghanistan.
In response to Farid Zakaria’s question about his military strategy in the war with the Taliban, he did not answer and on the contrary said that he believes in a political solution to end the conflict in Afghanistan.
Ahmad Massoud criticized the Taliban group for ignoring the peace talks with the resistance front.
In response to the question of why Afghanistanis, like Ukrainians, did not fight against the Taliban group, Ahmad Masoud said that the Afghanistani military forces fought against the Taliban group with “unparalleled” bravery and the people are still resisting the Taliban group “with empty hands”.
He has mentioned several times the women’s protests that were violently suppressed by the Taliban group.
Ahmed Massoud has criticized and stated that the aid that Ukraine is receiving now was not given to Afghanistani people.
Massoud stated that in the Doha talks, participation and consultation with the Afghanistan people was not considered and this caused the downfall of the Afghanistan government.
He asked the world countries to help the people of Afghanistan to fight for freedom.
Ahmad Massoud said: “We feel that we have been betrayed and we feel alone in this situation. After all, we have each other’s people.”
It should be mentioned that the resistance front led by Ahmad Masoud, son of Ahmad Shah Masoud, announced its presence in Panjshir province after the Taliban took control of the country, and they occasionally carry out attacks against this group in different parts of the country, especially in the north.
