RASC: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has announced the provision of shelter and solar power for dozens of returning families in Kunduz province.

The Afghanistan Department of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said in a tweet last night, July 16 that these houses were built in the village of Janat Bagh, Aqtash, Kunduz Province, but did not say anything about the number of these houses.

This international organization added: “Solar panels provided by UNHCR generate electricity for many displaced Afghanistanis who have just returned to Janat Bagh village in Kunduz province.”

Meanwhile, a number of returnees say that these aids have also provided a better basis for children’s education.

It should be mentioned that the two decades of war between the Taliban group and the military of the previous government forced millions of Afghanistani people to leave their areas and made it difficult for them to regain control of these living conditions that they cannot return to their areas.
