RASC: Asif Durrani, Pakistan’s representative for Afghanistan claimed in an interview that the countries of the world, including the United States, have a “direct relationship” with the Taliban in Kabul and Doha.

He said that the only person who does not want to see anyone and is “isolated” is Mullah Hebatullah Akhund.

In an interview with the Pakistan Security Research and Studies Center, Durrani said that “21 embassies in Kabul and 16 embassies, including the US embassy in Doha,” are connected with the Taliban.

Regarding World’s interaction with the Taliban, he said: “It’s not Worlds who doesn’t want a relationship; it’s Mullah Hebatullah Akhund who is aloof and doesn’t see people.” “Other than this, the world is in contact with the Taliban.”

Although he was skeptical about the news of Qatar’s Prime Minister’s meeting with Mullah Hebatullah, he added that if this meeting is true, it is a sign of a change in the interaction of the Taliban leader with the countries of the world.

This is despite the fact that no picture of Mullah Hebatullah has been published yet, but the Taliban are publishing the news of his meeting with local Taliban officials and officials in Kabul and Kandahar.

This group has not given an official explanation about the secret of its leader.

Regarding the recognition of Taliban, Pakistan’s special representative for Afghanistan said that this decision will be taken by the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.

Asif Durrani called Pakistan a victim of Afghanistan’s government changes and said that thousands of people enter Pakistan from Afghanistan without going through legal procedures every day due to instability.
