RASC: Local sources say that a 22-year-old woman in Spin Boldak district of Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan has ended her life by hanging herself.
Zarina’s husband, who was arrested by the Taliban after this incident, says that his wife had a nervous problem and had committed suicide twice before.
Health sources in Spin Boldak said that there were no signs of beating on the woman.
According to reports, with the rise of the Taliban group, self-destruction cases have increased in Afghanistan.
The main reasons for women committing such cases are family violence and economic problems.
