The Murder of a Woman by her Husband in Helmand Province

RASC: The local officials of the Taliban group in Helmand province say that a man killed his wife with an ax.

This incident happened on Friday night, 19 May, in Shabaroz village of Musa Qala district of Helmand.

Mawlawi Mohammad Qasim Riaz, deputy head of information and culture of the Taliban group in Helmand province, has confirmed this event.

According to Riaz, her husband due to family conflicts killed this woman.

Riaz adds that the Taliban group has arrested the perpetrator of this incident.

Incidents of violence against women have recently increased in different provinces of the country.

Two days ago, in Momanddara city of Nangarhar province a man killed his wife due to family conflicts.
