RASC: Following the arrest and killing of former soldiers, local sources in Takhar province say that the Taliban killed a former soldier in this province.

This former soldier, named Shamsullah, was killed around 7:00 AM today, Wednesday, May 17, in Hazar Bagh village of Khowaja Ghar district.

The Taliban group killed him in front of his family members.

According to the sources, Shamsullah was an officer of the National Army of the previous government and after the Taliban took control of the country, he turned to personal work.

The security officials of the Taliban group have not said anything about this so far.

Despite the fact that the Taliban group has repeatedly emphasized the observance of general amnesty, the detention, torture and killing of former soldiers by this group still continues.

It is mention able that the Taliban group also arrested the son of a former soldier in Balkh yesterday.
