RASC News Agency: Amidst the disheartening detention of courageous women by the Taliban, the “Movement for Afghanistani Women’s Justice and Freedom” has once again urgently appealed for international intervention to secure the release of esteemed individuals held captive, including Julia Parsi and Neda Parwani, prominent women’s rights activists, Rasoul Parsi, an esteemed university professor, and Morteza Bahboudi, an esteemed journalist.

In a statement released yesterday, on Tuesday October 17, the members of this unwavering movement implored international human rights organizations and civil society entities to exert substantial pressure on the Taliban, relentlessly advocating for the freedom of these unlawfully detained individuals confined within the oppressive walls of the Taliban’s prisons.

The statement contends that the incarceration of these women serves as a stark testament to the Taliban’s egregious violations of human rights in Afghanistan, inflicted upon them without any semblance of legitimate charges or due process.

Furthermore, the narrative poignantly highlights the profound impact of the Taliban’s imprisonment of women engaging in peaceful protest and social activism, inciting psychological terror and a pervasive sense of insecurity amongst those brave women striving to expose the concealed truths and abhorrent crimes perpetrated by the Taliban within Afghanistan.

Recent sources reveal that the intrepid Neda Parwani and Julia Parsi have been apprehended by Taliban intelligence forces in the Kabul province, following their arbitrary detainment of Afghanistani citizens and civil activists mere weeks ago, an act that has sparked widespread condemnation and international concern.

It is imperative to acknowledge that the Taliban’s hostile and oppressive treatment of Afghanistani women has consistently catalyzed impassioned protests against such transgressions, ever since their ascension to power. Regrettably, these righteous demonstrations championed by Afghanistani women have routinely met with uncompromising suppression at the hands of the Taliban, invariably leading to the detention and torment of numerous women across various provinces of the nation.

Furthermore, it is worth highlighting that the Taliban’s imposition of increasingly draconian measures and restrictions on the social fabric of Afghanistani women is nothing short of a concerted effort to obliterate them from society entirely, stifling their voices and relegating them to the margins of existence.

In the face of these harrowing developments, the “Movement for Afghanistani Women’s Justice and Freedom” hopes to galvanize global support, rallying international advocates to unite in their unequivocal condemnation of the Taliban’s flagrant human rights abuses and its egregious treatment of women. Only through concerted efforts and unwavering solidarity can the resonant cries for justice and freedom reverberate far and wide, fostering an environment where the shackles of oppression can be shattered permanently, ushering in a future where the vibrant spirit and resolute determination of Afghanistani women can flourish unrestrained.
