RASC: Local sources in Faryab province say that a young girl committed self- destruction in this province.

Local sources say that this incident happened on Friday, May 12, in the fourth district of Maimanah, the capital of Faryab province.

It is said that this young girl ended her life by eating the mouse death medicine.

The cause of self- destruction of this young girl is said to be family violence.

The Taliban group in Faryab province has not yet said anything about the case of this young girl.

Self-annihilation of young girls and women has recently increased in different provinces of the country.

The cause of most these events among women and girls are family violence and poverty.

About two weeks ago, two women hanged themselves in one day in Faryab and Kapisa provinces.
