RASC: Local sources in Faryab province tell RASC that a child in that province hanged himself after being sexually assaulted by a member of the Taliban group.
According to the sources, this child’s name was Rahimullah and he was sexually assaulted by a member of the Taliban group in “Bishbaleh” village of Qaisar city of this province on Sunday evening of this week. After this assault, he hanged himself and committed suicide.
It should be mentioned that recently, there have been many reports of sexual assault on women and children by the Taliban group. In the latest case, there were reports of a gang rape by members of the Taliban group on the daughter of a former soldier in Chahab city of Takhar province.
