RASC News Agency: Zaher Aghbar, Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Tajikistan, has called on global researchers to investigate the origins of the Taliban, questioning which planet they might have come from. Aghbar argued that the group’s ideology is even more dangerous than nuclear weapons. He emphasized that the Taliban completely lack a humanistic perspective, with their views being fundamentally inhumane and misogynistic. Speaking at an event in Tajikistan on Saturday, March 8, to mark International Women’s Day, Aghbar referred to the Taliban’s rule in Afghanistan as one where extremist ideas are more destructive than nuclear bombs.
Aghbar labeled the Taliban as the flag-bearers of extremism, not only in Afghanistan but throughout the region, and stated that their ideology poses a grave threat to the Afghanistani people. He warned that these radical beliefs have spread across the region, likening them to a contagious disease that threatens both regional and global stability. He proposed that the Taliban’s extremist, misogynistic views should be called the work of the “ignorant from a new planet.” Aghbar noted that he has no idea where these extremist groups originate from, urging researchers to investigate. Implicitly referring to the Taliban as terrorists, he criticized their inhumane ideology and unrealistic worldview, calling them the embodiment of pure evil.
Aghbar also pointed out that many individuals who once stood alongside Mullah Hibatullah, the Taliban’s leader, are now distancing themselves from him due to the group’s ban on education for girls and women. This is not the first time the Taliban have been described as “pure evil.” Over the past three years of their rule, the group has implemented numerous laws and restrictions, severely curtailing the freedoms, lives, and media rights of the Afghanistani people. These actions have led to widespread condemnation for their inhumane policies.
