RASC News Agency: Hibatullah Akhundzada, the reclusive leader of the Taliban, has reportedly gifted a fleet of brand-new vehicles to his closest commanders, further underscoring the group’s unchecked extravagance amid the worsening economic crisis gripping Afghanistan. On Monday, February 3, sources confirmed that Akhundzada distributed nearly 50 newly imported vehicles among his top-ranking commanders and loyalists. Reports indicate that these vehicles were purchased from Dubai and discreetly transported to Afghanistan, with the majority being Toyota Hilux models, a staple of Taliban convoys. The Taliban leadership has yet to comment on the matter.
This revelation comes as millions of Afghanistani citizens struggle under a regime that has systematically deepened poverty, fueled mass unemployment, and driven desperate populations toward Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey in search of refuge.
