Germany to Deport Afghanistani Migrants with Criminal Records

RASC News Agency: The German daily Suddeutsche Zeitung has revealed that Germany is set to deport a group of Afghanistani migrants with criminal records for the second time since the Taliban seized power. The German government is reportedly finalizing plans for another deportation flight to Afghanistan as part of its ongoing measures. This decision follows a tragic stabbing incident in Germany, which prompted Nancy Faeser, Germany’s Minister of the Interior, to announce intensified efforts to expel criminal offenders back to Afghanistan. According to German police, a 28-year-old Afghanistani man was arrested in connection with the murder of two individuals, including a child.

It is important to highlight that thousands of Afghanistani nationals sought refuge in Germany to escape political, ethnic, and religious persecution. Germany granted them asylum to safeguard their lives. However, some of these individuals, upon resettlement, have demonstrated behaviors rooted in ethnic tribalism, radical ideologies, and extremist tendencies. A substantial number of Afghanistani migrants who were granted asylum appear to harbor ethnic and ideological sympathies for the Taliban. This subset has caused significant challenges for Germany and other European nations. Beyond mere support for the Taliban, they have also advocated for the fragmentation of Pakistan, endorsing separatist Pashtun leaders residing in Germany.

Adherents of the “Lar o Bar” ideology a call for the unification of Pashtun territories have turned Afghanistan into a haven of chaos and failed to adapt to the values and norms of peaceful, lawful coexistence in Europe. Their actions continue to exacerbate tensions within their host countries and perpetuate discord in their regions of origin.
