Afghanistan Freedom Front Eliminates Nine Taliban Members in Coordinated Attacks Across Parwan and Kabul

RASC News Agency: The Afghanistan Freedom Front (AFF) has claimed responsibility for a series of meticulously coordinated operations in Parwan and Kabul provinces, resulting in the deaths of nine Taliban members, including a high-ranking commander. According to a statement issued by the AFF, the first attack occurred on the evening of Thursday, December 29, near Bagram Airfield in Parwan. The operation reportedly neutralized four Taliban members, including Mullah Malang Helmandi, a key Taliban commander. Additionally, three others sustained injuries. The AFF emphasized that its forces emerged unscathed from the assault.

In a subsequent operation within Parwan, the AFF reported targeting Taliban positions in the Jabal al-Saraj district. This attack resulted in injuries to two members of the group. Meanwhile, in Kabul, the AFF conducted a high-profile strike against Taliban forces near Police District 6. According to the group’s statement, their fighters targeted a Taliban gathering at the entrance to the district headquarters. The operation claimed the lives of three Taliban members and left two others wounded.

Eyewitness reports of an explosion in District 6 had surfaced hours before the AFF confirmed responsibility for the attack. To date, the Taliban have not issued a response to these claims. The AFF and other resistance factions have increasingly launched nighttime operations against the Taliban in urban centers, particularly Kabul. These strategic strikes aim to destabilize Taliban control, with opposition forces leveraging the cover of darkness to maximize their impact.

The AFF has conducted similar operations in the past, often resulting in significant Taliban casualties. These intensified efforts signal a growing resistance movement, determined to challenge the Taliban’s authority and disrupt their governance in key regions.
