RASC News Agency: The Bakhtar News Agency, operating under the Taliban, has reported that 242 migrant families were expelled from Iran and Pakistan yesterday Friday, October 4. According to the report, these migrants entered Afghanistan through border crossings in Nangarhar, Kandahar, Nimroz, and Herat. The agency stated that 35 families returned via the Torkham crossing, while 30 families came back through Spin Boldak. Additionally, the report noted that 77 families returned through the Pul-e-Abresham border, and 99 families crossed back via the Islam Qala border.
This situation emerges amidst significant challenges faced by Afghanistani citizens, including poverty, unemployment, discrimination, injustice, the appointment of incompetent individuals, political and ethnic tyranny, as well as widespread terror and violence against the Afghanistani populace factors that have been cited as major reasons for emigration. Official and verified reports indicate that over ten million citizens have left Afghanistan in the past three years due to these issues, seeking refuge in neighboring countries. Many have managed to reach Europe and the United States through these pathways, with a substantial number remaining in those regions.
Reports suggest that these host nations have not treated Afghanistani migrants favorably, frequently expelling them back to Afghanistan. They are returned without any guarantees of safety or employment, and the majority face arrest and potential execution by the Taliban upon their return.
