RASC News Agency: Local sources from Ghor province report the discovery of the bodies of a woman and her daughter in the region. Sources informed the media on Sunday, June 9, that the bodies were found the previous day in the village of Ab-Garm, located in Allahyar district.

According to the sources, kidnappers abducted the woman and her seven-year-old daughter from their home in the same village approximately two months ago. The sources indicate that the abductors killed the woman and her daughter before burying them. The exact identities and motives of the perpetrators remain unknown.

Local Taliban officials in Ghor province have not yet commented on the incident. Since the Taliban’s return to power, there has been a significant increase in criminal activities, particularly mysterious and targeted killings, across various provinces.

In a recent incident, a young man was murdered by another youth in the Ghoryan district of Herat province last night. In many cases, the perpetrators of these murders are not pursued by the authorities, leading to an increase in insecurity.
