RASC News Agency: Several government employees under the Taliban administration report that their monthly salaries, their sole source of income for daily living expenses, have not been paid for approximately two months. They are urging the Taliban to address this issue and ensure the payment of their salaries promptly.

One teacher in Kabul stated that the delay in salary payments has caused significant difficulties. He said, “I have a government job. We haven’t received our salary for May. I have rent to pay and am in great need. Not receiving my salary has caused me a lot of trouble.”

Another employee, who did not want to disclose his name or workplace due to the sensitivity of the matter, echoed similar concerns.

He said, “Our problem is that salaries are severely delayed. Everyone is preoccupied with their salaries. Currently, I owe money to the grocer, the baker, and for gas. All our thoughts are focused on when we will receive our salaries. The Taliban should make an effort to deliver these payments promptly.”
