RASC News Agency: Local sources from Farah Province report that unidentified gunmen have shot and killed three members of a family. Sources informed the media on Monday, June 27th, that the incident occurred the previous day in Faizabad village, located in the Golestan district of Farah Province.

According to sources, the gunmen entered a house in Faizabad village at night and opened fire on a man, his wife, and their son. Although the motive behind the killing remains unclear, sources claim that the family were civilians with no known personal enemies.

The Taliban have yet to comment on the incident. Similar occurrences have increased across various provinces since the Taliban’s return to power. Nearly two months ago, unidentified gunmen attacked a mosque in Farah Province, killing at least three people. Most of these incidents remain uninvestigated.
