RASC News Agency: Local sources in Takhar province report that Taliban members recently raided the home of a former military officer named Abdul Mosawer in the Dasht-e-Qala district. Sources told the media on Saturday, April 27, that when Taliban forces stormed the home of the former government-aligned militia officer, they killed his young sister, Negina, and injured his mother.

According to sources, the incident occurred on Thursday last week in the village of Mash Aab in the Dasht-e-Qala district of Takhar province. During the raid, Taliban forces also arrested Abdul Masour and took him with them.

Sources explained that Abdul Masour’s sister, who was 25 years old, shielded her brother and was killed as a result. The Taliban in Takhar province have yet to comment on the incident.

During nearly three years of Taliban rule, the group has targeted former military personnel under the pretext of a general amnesty, detaining, imprisoning, torturing, and even killing dozens of former military personnel.
