RASC News Agency: On the fifth anniversary of the passing of Ustad Haidari Wujodi, the revered Afghanistani poet, mystic, and literary icon, a special commemorative ceremony was held in Hamburg, Germany. The event was organized by the House of Peace and Democracy and drew a significant number of attendees from the Persian-speaking diaspora community across Europe. Held on Saturday, 28 June, the gathering brought together cultural figures, scholars, poets, university professors, and admirers of Persian literature to honor the enduring legacy of a man whose words continue to illuminate the path of spiritual and poetic thought.
The ceremony featured poetry recitations, scholarly reflections, and the reading of selected works by Ustad Wujodi each segment offering a window into the philosophical depth and lyrical beauty that defined his life’s work. Among the speakers were prominent cultural personalities including Dr. Rohullah Amin, Mohammad Mosleh Saljooqi, Abdulmalik Atash, Shabgir Puladian, Miyah Gul Mujaddedi, and Abdulmanan Dehzad. Each offered heartfelt tributes to Ustad Wujodi, exploring the intellectual and mystical dimensions of his writings and celebrating his unparalleled contributions to Persian literature and Sufi thought.
The House of Peace and Democracy extended special thanks for the live musical performance of one of Wujodi’s compositions by a youth art ensemble, and for the enthusiastic presence of guests and cultural enthusiasts from across Europe. More than a tribute, the evening served as a powerful reminder of cultural continuity in exile a shared space for memory, creativity, and intellectual connection among the Afghanistani diaspora.
