RASC News Agency: Local sources from Sar-e Pol Province have reported that heavy rainfall in the region has led to astonishing flooding. These floods occurred on Tuesday, March 26th, in the village of Jorjork in the mountainous district of the province.
The floods have completely destroyed a bridge along the route from the mountainous district to the central area, causing traffic and transportation disruptions. In recent days, several provinces across the country have experienced severe rainfall, resulting in river flooding and significant financial and human losses.
Furthermore, local Taliban officials in Faryab reported that heavy rainfall and flooding in the province have claimed two lives and caused substantial financial damage. The Taliban governor’s office in Faryab, in a press release, stated that the floods on Tuesday, March 26th, have resulted in both human casualties and financial losses in certain districts of the province.
