RASC News Agency: Local sources from Ghazni province report that the Taliban group raided a house in the province, resulting in the death of one civilian and the detention of two others. Sources informed the media on Monday, Mar 25, that the incident occurred two nights ago near Amir Mohammad Khan Castle, situated in the fifth security district of Ghazni city.
According to the sources, the Taliban militants stormed the house with the intention of apprehending a former member of the People’s Uprising Forces in Jaghuri district. Subsequently, they fatally shot one man and took two others into custody. The sources further reveal that the victim killed by the Taliban was Mohammad Ali, a resident of Malistan district in the province.
The Taliban group has apprehended two additional individuals, identified as father in law and a close relative of Mohammad Ali, and removed them from the scene. Information suggests that one of these detainees, Ahmad Ali, previously served as a member of the People’s Uprising Forces in Jaghuri district during the previous government.
Following the Taliban’s rise to power, Ahmad Ali had relocated to Pakistan but recently returned to the country. Sources indicate that there is currently no information available regarding the fate of the detained individuals.
The Taliban group has refrained from commenting on this incident. However, just two days ago, the group was responsible for the killing of a former army officer from the previous government in Logar province.
