RASC News Agency: According to local sources from Parwan Province, the Taliban recently assassinated a former member of the government’s special forces in the province’s center. Sources informed the media on Saturday, March 23rd, that this former military officer was killed two nights ago in the “Dogh Abad” area, located in the central region of Parwan.

The sources identified the former military officer as Safiullah and indicated that he had served in the government’s special forces unit. The Taliban group has refrained from commenting on this incident, despite similar occurrences having transpired in several provinces of the country previously.

It is noteworthy that international human rights organizations have consistently accused the Taliban of massacring, detaining, and torturing former government soldiers, allegations the group has consistently denied.
