RASC News Agency: According to local sources in northern Faryab province, a young man killed a staff member of a bone orthopedic medical facility in the city of Maimana, the capital of the province.
On Monday October 2, sources told the media that the incident occurred last night at the “Shafaq” Orthopedic Hospital, located in the second security zone of Maimana City.
Citing sources; Mohammad Zaman, an employee of the nursing department of Shafaq Special Orthopedic (Bone) Hospital in Maimana, was killed by a young man with a pistol.
According to a news source, Mohammad Zaman was shot dead by Nasir Ahmad, the son of the hospital’s owner, who was injured by himself and is now under Taliban control at the hospital.
The motive and cause of this incident have not been clearly identified yet, but it is said that most of these incidents are caused by personal enmity.
The security officials of the Taliban group in Faryab province have not said anything about this yet.
Shafaq orthopedic hospital is a privately owned medical facility located in the district of Maimana, Faryab Province’s provincial center. The Shafaq hospital has been established for approximately one month.
