RASC News Agency: Local sources from Khost Province have reported that an armed clash between two families in the province has resulted in the death of a young man and the injury of six others. Sources informed the media on Wednesday, Mar 13, that this incident occurred yesterday in the village of “Kuliano” in the “Lakno” district, part of the central region of Khost Province.

The individual who lost his life in this incident was named Shizallah and was working as a physician at the provincial hospital in Khost. According to sources, in addition to four other injuries, two brothers of Shizallah were also wounded as a result of this confrontation. The occurrence of this incident has also been confirmed by the Taliban group, who stated that these two families have a history of “personal enmity” towards each other.

This comes as criminal incidents have significantly increased in various provinces of the country in recent days, and in a previous case, a young man lost his life as a result of a similar incident in the city of Gardiz, the provincial capital of Paktia Province.
