RASC News Agency: Local sources from Samangan province indicate that a traffic incident on the Samangan-Balkh highway has resulted in the loss of one life and injuries to seven others. Sources from Samangan province informed the media that the traffic incident occurred this afternoon, Thursday, Mar 7, in the “Rabatak” area of the province.

According to sources, the condition of four of the injured individuals is reported to be critical, with one of them transferred to the Abu Ali Sina District Hospital in Mazar-e-Sharif city, Balkh province. As per sources, the traffic incident occurred when a minibus collided with a Toyota Hilux. The cause of the incident has not been clarified yet.

This comes as previous traffic incidents in various provinces of the country have claimed the lives of hundreds and injured hundreds more. According to experts, reckless driving, road defects, lack of traffic signs, and the difficulty of some routes are among the factors occasionally leading to traffic incidents.
