RASC News Agency: On November 14th, it was reported that a 13-year-old boy ended his own life in Bamyan Province. The incident took place in the “Shahidan” area of the province, where the young boy was discovered hanging on Monday evening. The boy, identified as “Amir Khan,” was taken to the local hospital for further investigation. However, the sources have not yet provided any information regarding the reason behind the boy’s suicide. This is not an isolated incident, as there have been reports of teenage boys taking their own lives in various provinces throughout the country.
It is important to highlight that there have been instances where adolescent boys have taken their own lives as a result of threats from their fathers and conflicts within their households. These distressing situations have led them to make the devastating decision to end their lives.

Furthermore, it is crucial to acknowledge that various factors, such as domestic conflicts, economic hardships, and mental health issues stemming from societal crises, can contribute to individuals resorting to suicide in different regions. Additionally, experts have pointed out that the rise of the Taliban group and the subsequent challenges and restrictions imposed on Afghanistani citizens have also been identified as factors leading to suicide among the Afghanistani population.

Moreover, it is worth mentioning that implementing educational and training initiatives, establishing programs aimed at enhancing people’s awareness and knowledge of familial interactions, and creating conducive work environments can play a significant role in mitigating this alarming phenomenon.
