RASC News Agency: Nikki Haley, a Republican candidate for the US presidential election and former US ambassador to the United Nations, recently stated that the withdrawal of the United States military from Afghanistan has sent the wrong message to Washington’s allies and “enemies.”
Haley, who also served as the Governor of South Carolina, made these remarks on Saturday, Mar 2, during a campaign event in Raleigh, USA. She cited Russia’s war with Ukraine, the Israel-Hamas conflict, North Korea’s ballistic missile tests, and China’s cyberattacks on US infrastructure, stating that the “failure” of her country in Afghanistan has led to all these issues.
Haley added, “The world is truly on fire. Make no mistake, if our country had not failed in Afghanistan, none of these would have happened.” According to reports from The Chronicle, quoting this US election candidate, Russia is currently developing an intercontinental ballistic missile.
It has been over two years since US troops withdrew from Afghanistan, a move that led to the Taliban regaining control of Afghanistan. Representatives and officials from both past and present US administrations have criticized the Biden-led US government several times over the catastrophic withdrawal of forces from Afghanistan.
